Forklift Training Course Requirements
To ensure the smooth running of training, the following requirements must be met:
- All trainees must meet HSE’s medical requirements for safely operating equipment.
- A room or quiet, restricted area to serve as a classroom for the theory-based training.
- Use of the forklift for the duration of the course, which must meet all current LOLER requirements and have a valid LOLER certificate (evidence required at the time of booking).
- Use of 15 pallets and an area inside or outside that is flat, easy to manoeuvre, and free of disruptions.
- If booking a one-day refresher course, proof of previous training must be provided at the time of booking.
